Got soaked, no fish       07/02/2025

So, after the success of yesterday we set off at 5pm to catch some more fish, and all started off well nice launch and No Worries boat was cruising along nicely at 14 knots apparently. We set up in one of our usual spots between reefs for some bream and mackerel but had nothing so we trundled out to the Mixon and looked for some birds feeding off the whitebait.



We then ventured a little further out buoyed by the sweet running of the engine, but then the sea changed a bit and frankly we got soaked to the skin which as not really happened before, so we decided to motor in to shore and I managed to even use the winch properly this time.
As we got No Worries fishing boat up the beach, I saw my dad and we decided to retire to the Lifeboat pub for a pint.
The next door boat is for sale and we decided to see how much it was as we are after a bigger boat really. This gull was after out bait when we were unloading.
